Curbside Pantry

We offer once a month grocery distribution providing all the food groups. This option allows our neighbors to drive in and have groceries delivered to their vehicle.

Home delivery to seniors

Home service is made available for seniors who qualify for home delivery. This is a separate application process. A WCS Team delivers groceries once a month to the door of each senior. Each box is customized to the needs of that senior. This service is limited due to the number of teams we have available.

Utility Assistance

Financial assistance is available through partnerships with TXU Energy, Reliant Energy, Direct Energy, Hilco Energy and ATMOS Gas for Ellis County residents who need temporary assistance.

Medical Assistance

WCS is partnered with Waxahachie Pharmacy for life-dependent medications and small medical equipment. Once approved, a voucher will be given to take to the pharmacy. WCS also partners with Hope Health to assist their patients with dental and medical expenses for the underinsured.

Online Ordering

This option is designed to allow a neighbor to receive a customized box of groceries. This is a smaller distribution designed for smaller households or those with food restrictions.

Shoe Buddy Program

WCS is a partner with SBP who provides the funding for our neighbor children K-12 to start school with a new pair of shoes.
